Makes: About 2 cups

This neat recipe was generated by a Wheat Belly facebook follower, Ashley, who gave us permission to share it with our crowd.  Looks great and features our Virtue Sweetener!


.5 cup virtue
1.5 cups water 
1 teaspoon of maple extract
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 oz. Kerrygold butter

Boil water
Add virtue and butter, whisk to dissolve
Reduce heat and simmer down to a thicker consistency (10ish minutes)
Add extracts after it cools for a few minutes

Tip: If you want a thicker consistency, replace some of the water with an oil of your choice and emulsify.
