Cheese Danish

3 eggs

3 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

3 tablespoons Wheat-Free Market All-Purpose Baking Mix


3 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

1/2 teaspoon Virtue Sweetener

1/4 teaspoon vanilla (optional)


Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Separate the whites from three eggs and using your mixer whisk them until stiff peaks are formed.

In another bowl where you have placed the yolks add about 3 ounces of room temperature cream cheese and blend until creamy with a spatula. Then add 3 tablespoons of
Wheat-Free Market Wheat Belly All-Purpose Baking Mix and blend in well.

Fold in the egg whites carefully, trying not to stir too much. Then using a large spoon dollop the mixture onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet such that you have 6 danishes. Pat them down just a bit if necessary.

Bake for 30 minutes.

While they are baking, in a small bowl mix another 3 ounces of cream cheese with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of
Virtue Sweetener. Add a dash of vanilla if you like. Blend well until creamy.

When the danishes are out of the oven and cooled for about 5 minutes, dollop a small portion of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each one. Add a touch of sugar-free jam if you like!
